Tearing my hair out with a peculiar hassle in trying to print a
16-page A5 booklet. (ie, two A5 pages to an A4 Landscape sheet.)
I'm printing to a file via the Postscript 3 driver.
A single Impression frame fills the back page (page 16 of the
document). This frame contains an Artworks file, and in the frame's
Alter Graphic dialogue the Artwork is rotated to 90 degrees.
The Artworks file contains a large jpeg, a small jpeg, two labels
(text) and a text area.
If I print only page 16, everything appears correctly, including the
large jpeg. Ditto if I print all 16 pages as single A5 pages.
But if I print as a booklet, everything in the entire booklet prints
correctly -- except the large jpeg on page 16; the other elements of
the Artwork on page 16 print correctly.
I've tried both Impression-X and Publisher 5.13 -- on ArmX6 (Ro 5.23),
Armini (5.22) and Virtual Acorn (4.02). Same story in each setup.
I tried doing the 90-degree rotation in Artworks before importing the
file to the Impression frame -- same story.
Can't see anything odd about that large jpeg. I loaded it into DPscan
and saved it out again. And, as I said, the problem appears only when
printing as a booklet.
Any clues?
File is here if anybody wants to try:

I tried the file and got the same results, using Imp 5.770 and printing to file
using PS3 drivers, and converting to pdf using Ps2PDF.com.
So I loaded the page into Artworks, changed the JPEG to a Sprite and put it
back into Imp and printed it again, and the back page printed OK, So I suspect
there is something in the JPEG that is causing a print error.
So there you go then. JPEGs arre economical, but sprites though bigger are more
dependable.
Pamphlet printing can be a pain sometimes, as I have reported in the past, but
when it does work it is very good.
