Today the browser by virtue of flash and other things

If the Internet is a true indicator of the technology and various
advancements in communication and infrastructure thats happ arnd, then i feel
a computer with just a broswr, should be able to satisfy ALL your
requirements. What i mean is, there is no concept of an OS ; the browser is
the only program running in the system and once its loaded, the user should
be able to connect to the Net and get all his job done.
Almost, all the desktop clients have their equivalent thin clients(or web-services) and hence this shouldnt be a problem.
However, when i envisaged this - i do have made reservations about the
available bandwidth.
