I just want to know the difference between python and python2.4
i think these two are different pacakges it self
I have the following packages in my debian based distro..
python--->version 2.3.5
python2.3--> version 2.3.5
python2.4-> version 2.4.3
Here if you observe ..package it self is having 2.4 and version is again
different .If any body ask python 2.4 ..what it means ...python with version2.4
or python2.4 with version 2.4/////
I am confused in this....
