i had ubuntu 6.10 installed along with windows xp and suse. thought changing
the hard disk configuration.used ubuntu live cd and removed the suse
partition and changed it to fat32 for windows. when i restarted the error
was "GRUB ERROR 17"
then i installed kubuntu. got the boot loader correctly. but it shows my
older suse linux which i removed and has removed the ubuntu6.10 from my
system. i can find the files that i had in ubuntu using kbuntu. has my
ubuntu been removed. is it not possible to have ubuntu and kubuntu together.
what should i do to get my ubuntu back
