This is Thanigairajan(Shrini's Friend)who has got the
DVD from you 2 days back.
Today i am installing Etch.
I want to install Postfix and i gave the command
apt-get install postfix.
it says about unmet dependencies & they are
exim4-base: Depends: exim4-config (>= 4.30) but it is
not going to be installed or exim4-config-2
E: Broken packages
so i uncomment the line which is in
/etc/apt/sources.list deb http://security.debian.org
stable/updates main contrib non-free
then i gave apt-get update command , it gives errors
like W: Couldn't stat source package list
http://security.debian.org stable/updates/main
Packages
(/var/lib/apt/lists/security.debian.org_dists_stable_updates_main_binary-i386_Packages)
- stat (2 No such file or directory)
and
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been
ignored, or old ones used instead.
what i have to do to install postfix and other
packages?
