I forgot to add in my previous e-mail about my laptop
on the trip to Alagappa University:
We earlier had a discussion on the sturdiness of
laptops. With respect to this trip I want you guyz to
know that my IBM T41 travelled from Tiruchirapalli to
Karaikudi in the bus on our bumpy highways. I did have
it inside a Targus notebook case, which, was kept
inside a trolley cabin case. I had kept the cabin case
under the seat.
On the way back, from Karaikudi to Tiruchirapalli, it
was lying in the trunk of an Ambassador car. I don't
think you need any other example to show that this IBM
T41 is really sturdy. Of course, this baby shipped
from Hong Kong to the US. I don't know how different
the Thinkpads sold in India are :)
