AMD has no cache memory: thats not right. if u want more info, check
www.amd.com
as for performance, its pretty good. sometimes even better than intel stuff
abt heat, it does generate heat. if u r gettin from an assembler, get from
one who knows what hes doin.
mine missed out fan in the back and fried my motherboard.
was under warranty. had him replace it. amd gives info on cooling.
u will need a fan in the front of case. one on cpu (normally comes with
it) , one in rear of power supply (comes by default)
and one in back ( will remove heat of processor away from motherboard)
make sure u get the right motherboard. find out which motherboard is
compatible with Athlon.
used 2 athlon machines without problems.
