I have absolutely no interest in carrying on what people perceive to be
an argument, just for the sake of doing so.
My contention from the start has been that Linux does not support
BINARY-ONLY drivers and that as the linux kernel is updated on a user's
machine, he will need to recompile the drivers other than for one or two
specific cases ( a. The kernel interface layer is provided by the vendor
or b. The kernel headers and symbols remain exactly the same between the
two versions of the kernel)
I am quite happy to drop this conversation with you since it appears that
you haven't bothered to read my emails properly or to even visit the
links. However, there are others in this thread who may be able to give an
intelligent response to my email.
