One question - Why is it that Linux Kernel API is not backward
compatible? What is the design logic that goes with this. Why not hold
back major overhauls and use workarounds until major revisions.
Cleanly document and maintain required overhauls and implemented
workarounds in a public repository until application/driver developers
get around to fixing it by the time for the major revision?
