Unfortunately, the drivers I tried to install on 4.x are not fruitful.
Now it has changed the device name shown on lspci to "IBM ... 3060".
I don't have Fedora or openSUSE LiveCD. If I had a chance to try it, I
will post the inference on this thread.
Wonderful, I wish many other users in this list (who ask questions
and disappear) were as proactive and share what worked (or not).
I believe, you were going to revert back to a 3.x kernel since your
adapter used to work with your "older" install.
If you are not using something very specific in a 4.x kernel, why
don't you just try building a 3.x kernel from source *or* from the
distro repo and be on the way.
