There's nothing stopping you from using sawfish with gnome if you want to.
Arvind, you haven't seen Suraj's GUI setup. But I have seen it. His
setup is more efficient and user-friendly than GNOME 2.6 or whatever.
GUI not only needs that Windowish look but it should do a lot more than
that. If you look at Suraj's box, you will change your sig to "A window
manager can do more than a desktop environment".
