Hi,
Have you configured cups properly?
Try lpstat -a and see if your printers are configured. if they are
configured then something should be wrong with the drivers.
Goto linuxprinting.org and download the .ppd file for your printer and
put it in the /usr/share/cups/model/ and then browse
http://localhost:631 from your webbrowser.
If nothing shows up then restart cups using
/etc/init.d/cups stop
/etc/init.d/cups start
( dont use the restart option bcos it doestn work some times. )
then try localhost:631 again. goto the printers tab and then delete
the printer (as it doesnt work) and then choose add printer and just
answer the q's and in the device list chose the newly listed device
(as per your .ppd file).
then restart cups once more (for your satisfcation)
