Could you kondly give me some points, how the software / other industry can
grow using gpl ?

if i use gpl, i'm forced to release the source to everyone.
so my effort in adding the compnents goes waste as my code also is now
bound by gpl.

How come people ask these same questions again and again on almost all 
OSS/Linux/GNU related lists? :)
