Hmmm.
My problem is that I fear a loss in quality due to people jumping onto the
ship simply because it pays more. They don't care for or like their work.
They just do it because it pays more. They don't want to write good code.
They just want to write code that satisfies the dumb (ie non-technical)
customer and pays them. They don't want to know exactly why they configured
something the way they did. They just do it because it starts running
something which pays them. Ouch. Massive drop in quality.

At this point, I'm kinda glad that most of the people *I* know in the FOSS
world live by that -- either directly or indirectly. It all changes when the
sole purpose of `money' comes into the picture. Already happening with PHP I
guess. Not to mention the huge number of RHCEs who don't even know what the
`suid' bit does. Oh well.
