yes, it is on the road to porur...i took a share auto to porur today
to look for some things...don't have my own transportation yet, nor
the courage to venture driving...I went to richie (sp?)
street...really enjoyed it...and seeing the linux cds down the street
was nice also...per your advice i went to big bazzar...got a few
things...also went to saravana stores in t.nagar...wow! what a
place...i have been told to go to city center (and spencer's
plaza)...but have heard mixed reviews...i will have some more shopping
to do when my wife and kids arrive...i am joining saka
solutions...office is near guindy...as far as first impressions (i
visited before in '99)...not sure what to say...still absorbing...it
is an amazing place, a lot to learn, see, experience (more detail
later)...i am excited to be here and know that it will be good for my
family...
