You have hit the nail.. this is what i am referring to.. we need to devise
ways so that people participate in realtime projects.. either existing
project or a new one based on our requirements.. like a college management
project, or school management etc.
Let our new approach be a initiator for the larger academic transformation,
both in school & colleges.. at any cost, we need to come out of the
macaulay system, which produces only clerks and educated coolies :)
Imagine, if the education department enforces a law, which makes it
mandatory for the student to participate in any of the real time projects
right from second year.. (backed by proper planning and infrastructure)..
Btw, i heard from a professor that Anna University is working on to network
all engg colleges by OFC.. if its so, this would unleash new era of
connectivity.. But, as usual, we are still underequipped to utilise it..
