If its Linux, Fedora has Indic support build by default.
FYI, If its Linux, it doesnt mean Linux means Fedora. may be u know
only fedora it seems. please take a look at other linux too.

Which is why I pointed out the available of a public cvs repository to 
pick patches from.



there are still people using linux other than fedora.
cvs.fedoraproject.org and the SRPMS would be useful.

coming to your point, if u r using fedora core 3, and u want firefox
1.5, fedora 3 repo didnt provide that. ok in that case you have to
build from source. none SRPMS work out.

Fedora Core is legacy now.
