The 'freedom' from 'vendor lock in' is definitely a point that will
impress a CEO. And., thats what 'freedom to modify code' gives you.

If you don't have geeks in house, there are companies that provide
services which is available for you. If you don't have geeks yo pay
$$. Either way you get to do what you want to do with the software.
