Now we get free as in speech as well as free as in beer too ! Maybe I should
re-think my Microsoft support - they never gave me any of this ;-)
My friend in Taiwan once helped a guy he knows (a lawyer) clean a major
infestation of viruses off his laptop. It took about a day to clean the
viruses, update windows with security patches, restore stuff from
backups etc (downloading took a few minutes at the most .. taiwan has
real broadband available, not the sort of nonsense you get here!)
That job was worth dinner at a five star hotel for my friend ... and you
say nobody even bought you a single beer for that sort of work? :)
