I can take care of Tambaram,Chromepet areas (from 15 Dec 04.)
I can take care of Ayanavaram,Perambur, Villivakkam also as I work
in Ayanavaram.
About cost we should keep in mind that ILUGC also requires some small
fund. We can print CD-Paper/plastic Covers with ILUGC details and
charge 5-10 rupees for this cover(depending on manufacturing cost).
These covers to be given along with CDs burnt. That way a distro of 3
cds may cost only 15-30. The fund so collected by the maintainer can
be given to ILUGC either in part/full (we can decide percentage after
a discussion).
We have to workout something for the common problems we are going to
face in CD-writing,if we accept empty CDs from others.
1.People come with 4x RW cds and it takes hours to copy
2.Bad CDs. Who is to take blame?
We better make it clear that it is only voluntary work and nobody
can demand any distro and also timely delivery/availability. It is
purely at the discreetion of the volunteer.
