Your /etc/X11/XF86Config should look like this: (in particular,
"Protocol" must be "ImPS/2"):
yes changed it, restarted x, but mouse in same old condiiton
Better, do dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86. It goes through all
settings and lets dpkg maintain the configuration.
did that, but no effects...
this is my XF86Config-4 file mouse section
