found that the modem got disconnected and get connected after some time. I
informed them that there was the problem in the Service Provider side ( as

there any way to prove them that there is a problem in their side only, or

System runs on Ubuntu and firefox 3 Beta.
Is your modem is an usb modem? Which version of Ubuntu you are using?
Check with pidgin or any application other than firefox. There is one
bug in Ubuntu 8.04, firefox will show "working offline" even you are
connected with internet

Did you check with 'ping www.google.co.in'?
