nothing! That is, unless you regularly backup all _your_ data from
gmail to a local disk.
Yes, I think that is an important point. GMail will not remain Beta /
free forever. At the end of their Beta testing, when they move GMail
to a commercial venture (which I think they will), they could, in
principle, make you pay to get back your own data.
