From my personal experience, I can say that the certification is no
guarantee that the candidates have the knowledge/skill set for your
advertised position. Do consider candidates without certification
but who has hands on experience - you may find a nugget.
Most of the chaps I have interviewed have all the right credentials
but within 10 mins. of interviewing it is apparent that they are paper
chasers and are not able retain/apply the knowledge that they have
acquired.
Job Description:
Install and configure Linux Server
Installing Windows OS and Maintain windows desktop
Maintain ?Firewall
Maintain ?LAN
Maintain Linux Based Remote Server
Maintain Mysql DB
Installing Open Source Tools
Shell script writing added advantage
I would urge you to interview the candidates with your own quiz and
determine their job readiness.
