Hi Everyone,
We are looking to purchase a new computer to run allegro 16.3 on. The new
machines are all windows 7 now.... I did some looking around on various
forums and several people were having problems getting it to work on Win 7
64 bit machines. Most stated they had no problems with 32bit but either had
to run a virtual machine to get it working or couldn't get it to run at all
on 64 bit. I did not find follow up info suggesting if it was no longer an
issue or if they found other good solutions. So in a nutshell my question
is: are people still having these problems or do the newer sr's fix this?
We would obviously prefer 64bit but if it is going to pose any major
problems with setup then it may be best to just go with 32 bit.
Thanks in advance,
Dharma
