Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Orcad vs Capture Compatibility

All,

I have an Orcad V9 schematic design and am exporting a third party netlist
to Allegro. I do not have Orcad V9 but rather the Allegro Design Entry CIS
10.3 I am able to view the schematic and also extract a third party netlist
,etc.

The question:

If I were to make changes to the schematic would it still work in Orcad V9?
Provided of course I don't use anything not supported by Orcad V9? The
changes would be changing a connections , footprint name and also back
annotate function and pin swaps?

Regards,
Gerry
