Mark, I don't know of a way to output a dxf file mirrored from Allegro. As many have suggested you can easily do the mirroring on the mechanical cad tool side versus doing it in Allegro. If you want the data on one layer when loading the plot file (.plt) then all you need to do is select a different Active Class and Subclass under the Control Panel Option tab before selecting the load plot location. This will eliminate the creation of the different Pen layers, driven by the different subclass colors, and place everything on one Allegro subclass. If you somehow want to maintain the subclass separation make each subclass a different color which in turn will load them on individual subclasses (Pen layers) during load plot. During DXF output you have the ability to map these subclasses over to a specific DXF layer name to maintain the layer separation. Hope that helps, Michael Catrambone UTStarcom, Inc. Hello all, Is there a way to mirror a dxf file output? We used to create a plot file, mirror on import to .brd, then dxf out. This creates a DXF on pen layers. We want to mirror all of the bottom side components, board outline, etc...for the bottom side assembly drawing. But also would like to output the DXF with real layers instead of pen layers.
