If you go into your home directory - pcbenv you will find a file allegro.geo.
This is the file you are looking for. Once you have the screen where you want
it, make this file read only so it won't change.

I can't figure out the pattern of when it opens up on a particular monitor.

The "hitting the X" after enlarging to full screen did not work on my set up.

However, bringing allegro to the right monitor, as a minimum screen (opened
allegro, but not full screen), and then "hitting the X" and shutting down; Did
produce the desired effect.

The next time I opened Allegro, it opened on the right screen.

This tells me that somewhere in the system there is a file that dictates where
Allegro will open.

I'm just curious if that file could be controlled in a script when opening up
Allegro to always have it open on the right monitor.

Thanks for the tips.
Dave

Open allegro, move the screen shot to the monitor you wish it to open on,
enlarge screen shot to full size, and exit the program by hitting the X in the
upper right of the screen. Next time you open the program it will be on that
monitor.

It seems to always open up where I closed it last. I'm not sure that there is
anything for a specific application that would direct it to a specific monitor.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Dual Monitor Setup

Hey Everybody,

I got a dual monitor set up for Allegro.

I would like Allegro to always open on the right monitor, the left being my
main monitor.

What controls which monitor Allegro opens on?

Thanks
Dave
