Our standard DRC clearance are checked perfectly with a line of sight type calculation within
the Allegro tool. But while working on high voltage type boards a curve ball is thrown at us, not
only do we have to maintain certain clearances but we also have maintain a higher number sometimes
referred to as Creepage. This can be twice the size as clearance and because we are working
in a limited size board we often accomplish this by adding slots into the board to satisfy the UL and CE
type regulations. Has anyone come up with a clever way to have Allegro meet both of these requirements
and not have to compromise the database rules.
