NLS has chosen to not mark all books converted from old tape masters.
Depending on how important they believe chapter navigation is, they have
marked some of those old books.  Most, will not be marked up though.  Phrase
navigation, as you say, is unreliable most times.  I prefer Icon's
implementation.  If NLS books were more marked up, which they're
unfortunately not, I would use phrase navigation.

That's really interesting.  I know I have some that are adapted from 
cassette and they are still marked up by chapter.  I was just curious if 
there was a difference in how some of them were done.  Thanks Matthew for 
the explanation.

It's not quite as quick, but we do have a move by time option.  If you press

and hold the Left and Right Arrows, the longer you press them, the larger 
the time increment.  So, if you want to move forward by 30 minutes, just 
hold down the Arrow until it says 30, and let go.  I believe they are 
working on a go to time option for 1.11.
