Yes, but for some reason the pound key doesn't always seem to work
at that point.  That was my first assumption about how the process
would work.
 
I guess my biggest concern at this point is why the "OK" key input
ois not being accepted.   And, why the player seems to be locking up
at that point.  
 
I should also mention that I did not have other tasks running at
the same time; so I am assuming that there should have been plenty
of memory available to the application.

Have you tried adding files and or folders by first selecting 
them with the pound key, then choosing Add Selected to a playlist 
from the program menu?
