Review of ARs:

Mike add extrapolation warning to module documentation
- Documented files and PERL script submitted. Needs more examples.

Arpad to change IBIS buffer implementation to have two input control thresholds
- not yet

Arpad and Ian update BIRD after next IBIS meeting
- Discuused at IBIS. OK to proceed.

Todd contact Xilinx RocketIO team
- Email sent, no response yet.

Barry contact Randy Wolff at Micron
- Not here, but he did. They don't want to get involved.

- Move IBIS summit from Mon to Thu Feb 9
- Todd may be busy ahead of this

  - Cadence has maybe a dozen or so
  - We have converted 5
  - Need testing

Library:
- Should we use $table_model based IBIS buffer as standard?
  - Having AMS call an IBIS primitive is "closed loop"
  - Change $table_model to be able to parse IBIS files
  - Or should it be a new primitive?
  - We shouldn't depend on spec changes and tool updates
- Does recent Verilog LRM work include string param passing?
  - yes
- Could AMS parsers call an external program to do parsing?
  - Would produce AMS code to be run inline

Mike's review comments on macro library:
- IBIS_3STATE had unused Vin_l and Vin_h parameters, now removed.
- Macro library does not have typ/min/max
  - IBIS [External Circuit Model] can have separate circuits
- Why do some buffers have parameters V_pu_ref, V_pd_ref, V_pc_ref, V_gc_ref
  when those values come from the related terminal voltages?
  - Need to know nominal voltage to combine I/V curves
  - Won't screw things up; param must have voltage used at time of
    model data measurement.
