Hey all, I used to forward port 6000 through my firewalls to allow X11 to tunnel through until it was pointed out that ssh will handle the X11 and I shouldn't port forward 6000. (I felt dumb) It seems to me that my X11 performance is AWFUL using ssh. Is this my imagination? If not, is there a better way to do this in iptables (my firewall uses iptables), i.e. I'll allow ip 123.123.123.123 to forward through 6000, but no others?
