I love Hammer Time! If you don't have a facebook page yet, I think you should. Also, when I searched for your address before getting on the e-mail list, this is the link that came up: http://eventful.com/fortcollins/venues/hammer-time-tool-co-op-/V0-001-003490965-3The address here is for Sherwood Street. Word-of-mouth will be more effective if search engines lead folks to your real whereabouts! As far as fund raisers, how about a benefit art/craft/bake-sale where crafters donate the proceeds from sale of their wares to Hammer Time? You may have done so already, but be sure to publicize events on KRFC's community calendar. Events can be submitted on-line at krfcfm.org. See if you can hang up flyers at Habitat For Humanity's Loveland and Fort Collins locales. Happy New Year! So the other day I was having a rad time chatting with automated phone robots and paying bills when I realized the HT! fundz are in the negatives. Come learn more about the space and how these decisions are made. Meetings are every Friday at 6pm. Regular Volunteers - a "regular" volunteer can pick a 4 hour shift out of the 2 per day between 12-8p on mon, wed, and sat. peeps can either volunteer getting stuff done or just doing homework, working on your own projects, reading infoshop books, cruzin the internet, etc while folks are perusing the shop. We ask that ya'll come to a few meetings and work parties before you become a regular volunteer as to learn about how the place operates. Outreach - One of the most important parts of the projects are letting people know we are here. A few ways to help out is to hand out/post fliers and posters, volunteer/create special events, and spread the word! Email us at hammertimeprojects@xxxxxxxxx to know how you can specifically help.
