Exluse me for being security ignorant but I really don't see how having a dot
or not can be a security.
For me these mean the same thing,
./somepath/somefile
somepath/somefile
If you are talking about making these mean something else then I would argue
that these having different meanings would not be intuitive (or easy to use)
which goes against the BeOS philosophies and that we should make them mean the
same thing.
Well, maybe I'm rambling. Could you just explain this security issue?
