Let me start by saying that SAT works quite well for me, and you seem
to have done a lot of work on it, so thanks, and good work!

p.s. the guy who reports the first crash gets a free beer at
BeGeistert :-)

It's not a crash, but when detaching tiled windows/stacks the border
of the tabs of any windows in the stack you're not dragging are not
invalidated properly (a small line of red remains). Not a big deal,
but I thought you'd like to know. Anyway, I really like this feature,
and as I said, it seems to work very nicely!

thanks, yes there are still some minor problems...

SAT is pretty cool, I'm playing around with it as we speak. Here are some issues I've found:

* When one of the windows in a stack has size constraints for the minimum size, it would be cool if the constraints would reflect in the whole stack. I've tried this with your MediaPlayer example, making a stack of the main window and the Playlist window. If I resize the stack (via the Playlist window border) to be smaller than the MediaPlayer window wants to be, 1) it looks odd that I can make the Playlist window smaller than the player window, and 2) once the size of the Playist window is smaller (in width) than the main window tab, the Playlist window tab is placed completely outside. Suddenly it's very wide and extends outside the stack on the left.

 * I've seen something else that I can't remember now...

* When resizing the windows in a stack, the tabs don't become smaller to share the space. This may be only an issue if one of the windows has a width constrain which makes it wider than the stack.

* When moving a tile group of three windows on the screen, in my example, I've had a large Tracker window on the left, the MediaPlayer window on the top-right and the playlist window on the bottom-right, the bottom-right Playlist window jumped up and down a few pixels while moving. It only happens when the Playlist window is not as high as the Tracker window before adding the Tracker window to the already existing tile group of the Player+Playlist windows. Doing so will enlarge the Playlist window to the height of the Tracker window and then the problem can be observed. When resizing the group via the Playlist window, the problem is gone.

Best regards,
-Stephan
