have to see what SAT offers in comparison to KDE, but afaik KDE 4.5
just offers Win7-like window-maximization and snap-maximize-to-edges,
or did you mean something else?

I'd also find desktop state-saving extremely useful, something like
KDE's session management where all apps and windows are restored on
restart... (now less important with hibernation but anyway).
