This sounds like something different than what it really is, maybe.
Nathan is really working on design and prototyping for R2.
Gathering ideas from people, distilling them into a coherent list.
Sketching out APIs that people would like to see, etc.
It is certainly not a parallel effort to build a second OBOS. That would
be just silly. There are certain APIs that many people don't like. This is a
chance to
talk about them and try to improve them. The CVS is, in a way, a proof of
concept
type of thing.
