5. As I having problem with Haiku radeon driver and my dell with a x300 gcard I would like to save the output from kernel mode. Is that saved if I
enabled the syslog file?

The output on the radeon driver is always written to the syslog file.
However you probably need to capture it using the serial output if
your display is not readable. What sort of problem are you having
with the X300?

I currently do not have Haiku/Zeta installed on my Dell Inspiron (also an x300), but the problem I had with either Zeta's or Haiku's driver is that Zeta would not boot at all with either of the two drivers - it would hang after the last icon on the bootscreen. The only way to get it to boot was to set a safemode lower resolution (instead of its native 1280x800, which isn't supported by the safemode options).

Bernd sent me test Radeon drivers for well over a year to get it fixed, but to no avail.
