Maybe if you're making them yourself or if buying just-announced hardware. Older ones that are still in production generally go quite cheap and the discontinued-yet-thousands-left-in-stock types go for even less (perhaps £30-40 a board). Even at the £30 mark, the best you could get off any online retailer would be a processorless, RAM-less hairdryer motherboard. It all depends which supplier you go for. There's a company near Oxford that sells industrial boards as well as an in-house design and manufacture service for one-off speciality jobs. Obviously that costs a bit more. I could be wrong though, it can't be that hard to pick up a motherboard with CPU and RAM for less than a few quid. Regards, James.
