btrfs will probably replace the ext file system sooner or later in Linux distributions as default option. So support for this in Haiku wouldn't have anything to do with server functionality.

BTW please always remove the non-relevant parts of the original mails from your answers. As a hint: if you still find the original signature in your reply, something is definitely wrong.
