To test ShowImage I opened it, and in the file dialog found an image and selected it and pressed open. After looking at the menus I noticed the ability to move to the next image. *** What next Image ? *** I had chosen only one image. What is the next image? The next image in the directory? Does it go into sub directories? Does it go into superdirectories? The fact that the question had to be asked is why I call it bloat. If the file contained multiple images then it is valid option. If I select multiple images it is a valid option. If I selecr a query it is a valid option. I thought ShowImage was a program to view the images in a file. Now it is a program to view the images in a directory ?!? I would see a "Be" slideshow as the ability to view an abitrary set of data. Not the hack version of all files in a directory. And as such I think Andrew's idea is the way to go. At least I see show image as a single file viewer by default and a slide show viewer by options. BTW I am currently using OpenTracker 5.2.1. It is quite good, especially as I much prefer single window navigation. Once again Be's Drive Setup killed my partition table, luckily I had some of it written down and could calculate the rest. And so I am now able to access the net again. http://personals.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo! Personals New people, new possibilities. FREE for a limited time.
