I think that's OK, too.
We could be all fancy and replace the package file names with the
packages actual names and icons by querying the Haiku Depot Server (or
using HaikuDepots cached info), but as the SoftwareUpdater may be only
a stop gap, not too much effort has to be spent on that.

That's a good point. Although it points more toward improving Haiku's
notifications. As PulkoMandy said, it'd be nice to make them a bit
less space consuming.
