That is an option but you won’t see the progress. And you couldn’t add a
count like (1/12) to the
group name because that would create a new group for each download.
Maybe instead, it could be reduced to an animated icon in the
Deskbar tray, i.e. the Notifications icon itself could show a vertical
progress bar.
But what happens if there are multiple notifications with a progress bar?
They will fight it out
with one another overdrawing the other. What about putting a progress bar on
the SoftwareUpdater
application icon in the Deskbar programs list? Has anyone ever done something
like that?
