If that can be done fairly easily, OK, but it seems like a lot of
work. Another option is to make our shell code smarter to translate
it. I guess it depends on what handles the shebang line in shell
scripts. But the more "magic" the solution becomes the harder it will
be to debug if things go wrong.

The main point of my rant was against the argument "we won't fix this,
you need to port things properly", which I think is ridiculous and
stupid in this case.

Then what are they? Alex showed them in his email. I didn't boot up
Haiku to check.
