Not sure what you mean by that.

It's not locked down - why do we have this whole decorator stuff in the
app_server in the first place?

I could not care less about those, but it's still quite easy to change
the decorator if you really want to. And I see no reason to make this
much simpler, or even add some of those by default - the ones in our
repository can mostly serve as examples anyway, and this really looks
like the perfect 3rd party opportunity to me. There is absolutely no
reason to ship with anything beyond the basic support for different
decorators.
