BOM can be altered to work on a branch, but i can't run two instances of it on the same machine nor use one instance to build two different repositories. Can we get a special nightly build set up that can build in the stack and tile branch so that it can still continue to get user testing to report bugs? -scottmc
I forget exactly what part of the haiku's build system fails if parallel builds are building on a cross-platform. It might have been the bfs writer.
Right now, my two spare machines are running BOM; one for uploading nightlies and the other to test ppc & x86, including alpha-*. Also with the current way BOM does uploading, it needs to run continuously as the upload timer is kept in memory. So, running a single cycle for nightlies followed by one for stack and tile wouldn't work. Well I could wrap that in a script to manage the timing but things start to get complicated at that point.
So, if this is approved, I'd need someone with access to Haiku-Files to run BOM.
