3rding the lab hours.
For some like me, years of looking up wikis and how tos without a human
teaching
you in person is enough to drive you insane after so many topics. I'll give
anyone my ear with intensity
if they take the time to explain to me something in person. I simply don't
want to go through endless
webpages on a screen to learn something that complex. I prefer a human
teaching me- I synthesize
info exponentially quicker that way.
That said- any help anywhere is still always appreciated.

Way ahead of you. This presentation can already be inserted into a
learning track. I just gave it at HackPGH on Saturday.
I am not in favor of a separate list yet, I would rather wait until we
have enough traffic on this list.

As much as we would have good intentions, instead of setting up a
separate list, might it be better to point people to the programming
language lists and irc channels?
People should always feel free to ask questions here, though. If there
is a lot of software-heavy traffic, then maybe we could split it off?
Once I have more ability to be in the shop, I would love to assist in
working a lab/office hours in the shop though!
