K12 Solutions has paid for the notepads.

I seem to remember saying at the last meeting that Edupoint had signed up for
bags, but that I could not see that they had paid yet. And the comment was that
it would go to the first person who had paid. I don’t know if I mentioned it to
the group or not, but I remember noticing that they wanted to sponsor bags. It
is my fault for not noticing that they had paid. I must have been looking at
the total charge instead of the balance owed, since the website shows that they
paid on 11/12 and our meeting was after that.

If the 1,500 would pay for something like an insulated lunch bag, that might be
a good substitution. It would be something everyone gets. I would prefer having
an item identified before approaching either vendor.

Thanks,

Anna

I agree with Flora...we should give it to Edupoint, but since we specifically
asked PowerSchool, I'd like to verify with Edupoint that they choose something
else. It's such a visible item.

Did we have someone doing the notebooks? That's probably the second most
visible item, since people tend to use it at the conference...not to mention
the one we talked about is nice enough that people will keep using it later.

Did someone verbally talk to Edupoint about the bags or was this something they
did on their own?

looks like someone needs to call both vendors once a decision is made to let
them know about the mix up and if there is something else they would like to
sponsor.

If we go for another item for either vendor, we need to put their log on it.

They actually are already sponsoring the lunch. Since we have an extra 1,500 to
spend on stuff, could you choose another item, like one of the items from the
catalog?

Thanks,

Anna

I’m glad I haven’t order yet. I was planning on doing that today. Who should
sponsor the bags? Since Edupoint paid first, I would think it would be them
and we would offer PowerSchool another item. We could give PowerSchool the
back page of the program ($500), 2 breakfast sponsorships ($500), and two
refreshments breaks ($700) for a total of $1,700 even though they only paid
$1,500.

Comments?

All,

I just uncovered an issue here. I just found that both Edupoint and now
PowerSchool have paid us for bags sponsorships. Edupoint paid on November 12th,
PowerSchool paid last week. I don’t know why my report didn’t pick up the fact
that Edupoint had paid for that item. I will work on the report and make the
correction for the future.

Anyone have suggestions on how we resolve it? Carolyn, can we purchase another
item that would be exclusive for the other vendor?

Thanks,
