Here is my opinion for what it is worth... Yes you claim speech because it is a
different type of instruction then what they are receiving through the resource
classes. I also think on the IEP it shows as an additional service for that
student. From what I understand if the student's IEP has a 1:1 para or nurse
on the bus then you can claim transportation. You can claim OT and PT. Debbie

Good Morning friends,
I need a little help this morning. I have two students that are Special Ed
Resource all day long, in addition, they take speech for 30 minutes in the
first and 2nd segments. One of the student is also transported to occupational
therapy by special transportation. How many minutes will I claim for these
students? I know that it will be 6 x 60 for the Resource classes but do I
still claim speech (60 minutes) as well as the 60 minutes for both Occupational
Therapy and Special Transportation? Let me know. Thanks in advance.
